How We Met…

Oct 2nd 2020

John & I were each deep in the trenches of dating apps, sifting through the chaff in search of a meaningful relationship. To this day we can’t agree on who liked who first, but since I’m writing this, I will say that it was me.

I was drawn to his fun-loving smile and mutual interest in Halloween.

John showed my picture to a friend who said, “she looks like trouble!” Without hesitation, he swiped right.

Fun Fact

Our first date was at Old Tony’s in the Redondo Beach pier. The food was SO bad, but the company was excellent.

Walking to meet him for the first time, I had a funny feeling that I was on my way to meet my husband.

We fell in love immediately and moved in together within 6 months. It was fast, but we just knew.

John and I traveled together a lot, fitting a lifetime of adventure into the 4 years we’ve known each other. We’ve been to Banff Canada, Washington DC, Cancun, North Dakota, New York, London, France, Italy, and all up and down the California coast together.

When we’re not traveling, we work at home together. Both business owners and both creative, we have a lot in common. And when one of us needs to vent about work, the other can relate!

Fun Fact

John proposed to me on a boat somewhere in the ocean between France and Italy. I was totally surprised and even more impressed because he managed to sneakily record the proposal with our drone!

March 29th 2025

John & I were excited to move into our first home together. We’ve found a charming beach house in Redondo where we’ll continue our adventures, grow our businesses, and eventually raise our family.
